Announcing the WESTERN CANADIAN REPTILE EXPO Saturday August 28th and Sunday August 29th at the Westerner Grounds in Red Deer Alberta!
Western Canada's largest reptile expo will bring vendors from across Canada to Red Deer. Reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates will be on display and for sale as well as special guests on hand (TBA.)
In early 2010 an announcement was made that the popular Red Deer Reptile Show would not be returning this summer. A group of private investors moved forward and the first Western Canadian Reptile Expo was born.
“When news got out that there would be no Red Deer show, the dissapointment from vendors and attendees alike was immediate,” promoter Greg West said. “A simple conversation among friends soon turned into a idea, and then a reality.”

Take Highway 2 south to 19th street overpass, exit on your right, follow Western Expedition signs, turn right at stop sign, turn right at the first set of lights, go through four set of lights and turn right, you are now in the parking lot... walk up stairs, open door, and enter.
Take Highway 2 north to Red Deer, turn right at first set of lights, go to second set of lights, turn right.

Attention Vendors:
Thanks to the sponsorship from Arctic Circle Herps, we will be holding a vendor BBQ the Saturday evening at the Rotary Park in Red Deer. The BBQ facility has been reserved, and more details and maps will be made available to those interested at the show.
Right now as we don't have a location to store food it would be good to get a rough idea of who is planning on attending. We want to make sure we get enough food, and also dont want to buy too much either.
We will be supplying burgers and Hot Dogs and I am sure we will have some other goodies. If anyone is wanting to bring any additional snack or deserts etc it would be much appreciated as well. If anyone is Vegetarian let me know and we will also plan for that as well.

Thanks everyone and can't wait. A lot of time and effort has went into making this a show everyone is going to talk about. We both really liked the BBQ to be able to relax and chat with the other vendors as usually during the shows you dont get a chance.
There will be no Alcohol allowed.
